Getting Here

Metro : From the 4 star luxury Cardinal Hotel St Peter Rome you can walk to Baldo degli Ubaldi Metro Station (Line A) in about 15 minutes (see our Location page for a map). From here you can reach all of the city’s attractions and landmarks.

Urban Trains : The 190F bus will take you from Piazza Pio XI (150 meters away) to San Pietro Train Station, which connects you to other parts of the city such as Trastevere, Ostiense (St Paul’s Cathedral) and Termini, as well as Fiumicino Airport and some of Rome’s surrounding towns and villages.

Vatican Museums : To get straight to the Vatican Museum Entrance, take the 31 bus from Piazza Pio XI - this will also take you to Cipro Metro Station.

Trastevere : The 31 bus in the other direction from Piazza Pio XI will take you down through Villa Pamphili to Monteverde. Get the number 8 tram from here into the cool, hip and trendy neighbourhood of Trastevere, where you’ll find bars and restaurants aplenty and a quick route across the river into the historical center.
